Climate change from greenhouse gases will keep occurring, the problems will get worse.
Unless the world begins to make radical changes with its greenhouse gas emissions, climate change will continue to occur at a rapid rate. Population is one of the driving factors for greenhouse gas emissions and as the population keeps growing, so does our greenhouse gas output. Unless we can immediately implement new technology to generate clean energy for all different types of human activity, the climate will continue to worsen. Factors include.
- global warming will occur at an even faster rate
- sea levels are projected to rise 1-4 feet by the year 2100
- changes in precipitation patterns
- more droughts and floods
- natural disasters will become more powerful
From this graph, it is clear that carbon emissions are not going to stop rising. To prevent our carbon emissions from continuing to grow at such an incredibly fast rate, drastic changes will need to occur within the world to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
