What are greenhouse gases?
The main greenhouse gases within the earths atmosphere are Carbon Dioxide, Methane, and Nitrous Oxide. The gas molecules are different from from other molecules, like Nitrogen and Oxygen, which are in our atmosphere; greenhouse gases have different effects. Carbon dioxide is the most abundant gas in our atmosphere. It is produced from many different forms of human activity and it is the main reason for the warming of the earth.
Where do greenhouse gases come from?
Greenhouse gases come from a variety of different sources. Although some greenhouse gases are emitted from natural sources, most emissions come from the burning of fossil fuels. The highest emissions of greenhouse gases come from electricity and heat, industry, and agriculture. Human activity is the reason for greenhouse gas emissions. Almost everything humans do, that requires energy, requires the burning of fossil fuels.

What do greenhouse gases do?
Watch this entire video to get a scientific understand of what greenhouse gases do. After watching this video, it is clear to see how much different greenhouse gases are. Greenhouse gases do a wonderful job of keeping heat within the earth atmosphere; but, it was seen that this phenomenon can be very dangerous. The more greenhouse gas molecules in the atmosphere, the more heat gets trapped on earth. This is the main cause for the rising of the global temperature, better known as global warming.
